Questions about AdGrader on your mind? Here are some of the most common ones we get asked. And if you've got any unanswered questions feel free to book a demo with one of the AdGrader team..
Quite simply because it’s not enough to just want to be diverse and inclusive when providing employment opportunities. You need to take action so that you are.
As an employer, or even as an agency working on behalf of an employer, it is your responsibility to ensure equal opportunity to all candidates applying to your roles.
AdGrader will help you from the moment you advertise your roles to ensure that your workforce is built with quality applicants who are not subject to bias of any kind.
Plus, you can relax knowing that AdGrader will simplify the entire process of identifying unconscious bias before it’s too late.
You copy and paste your job advert/description into AdGrader and let it do its magic.
AdGrader will highlight any unconscious bias, be it:
– and many more…
Where replacements can, or should, be made then AdGrader will provide neutral synonym alternatives that could be used in place of the bias word or phrase.
AdGrader will also check your advert for how readable it is and easy to understand for your target hire.
Think of a D&I version of Grammarly for job adverts, and you’re there.
AdGrader scans your job adverts for any type of unconscious bias.
It checks every word and phrase you’ve used in your advert against tens of thousands of known gender-coded and exclusionary works, and flags them up.
The inclusivity score is a complicated bit of maths where AdGrader assesses the overall balance of your text and gives it a score.
The AdGrader panel shows every offending word or phrase in your advert, and each will have a negative impact on your inclusivity score.
As you work through your advert and replace those words for the suggested neutral synonyms, you’ll see your inclusivity score increase.
Ideally you want to aim for a minimum of 85%.
It’s really, really easy.
AdGrader can be used as a “copy and paste” tool where you drop your text in and go, or you can write your job advert from scratch within the editor.
Another option is our AdBuilder tool, which generates bespoke, optimised job adverts purely on your answers to questions.
So if your job adverts aren’t hitting page one of the job boards, check AdBuilder out.

If you’re on a monthly payment plan your card will be debited with the required amount on the same date every calendar month. That is your ‘billing period’.
Alternatively if you choose to pay annually, your billing period is then the 12 month period of time from the date you start your AdGrader subscription.
With both types of payment plan (annually or monthly) your subscription will automatically renew at the end of your 12 month subscription period, unless you request not to renew during that time.
You can cancel your AdGrader subscription at any time before the end of your subscription period but any outstanding payments required to make up the 12 month contract will be due at that point.
All of our plans are 12 month contracts, however our payment plans can be split into either annual or monthly payments.
If you choose to pay upfront, you’ll qualify for an automatic 20% discount off your total bill.
However we do allow monthly payments that will be payable on the same date each month.

We allow for 3 “pause periods” during your AdGrader subscription.
Each pause period lasts for 30 days and can be taken at any point during your subscription, or not at all if you choose not to use them.
Pausing your account will allow for times where you’re maybe not recruiting as much, therefore don’t need access to AdGrader.
In this time, your access to AdGrader will be turned off and your subscription end date will move back either the amount of time you decided to pause for* or for 30 days per full pause period.
You can choose to resume your subscription at any point, or your subscription will automatically resume after 30 days.
If you need to pause for consecutive 30 day periods, just contact our support team and let us know.
*Each time you pause is classed as a “pause period”, so if the full 30 days aren’t taken you will still lose access to one of your three annual pause periods.
